Earl Grey Maple Matcha Latte Recipe

Looking for a matcha drink that’s comforting, fragrant, and a little indulgent? Our Earl Grey Maple Matcha Latte combines the natural sweetness of Maison Matcha Vanilla with the citrusy aroma of Earl Grey tea and a touch of maple syrup for the ultimate creamy treat.

Whether you prefer it hot or iced, this latte is perfect for relaxing afternoons, brunches, or even a cozy start to your day. Using ceremonial-grade Vanilla matcha, it’s smooth, naturally sweet, and easy to whisk into a frothy, luxurious latte.

Ingredients

  • 3g Maison Matcha Vanilla
  • 30ml warm water
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag
  • 140ml milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Method

Step 1: Brew the Earl Grey Tea

Steep 1 Earl Grey tea bag in 30ml of hot water for 3–5 minutes. Remove the tea bag and set the brewed tea aside.

Step 2: Whisk the Vanilla Matcha

Sift 3g of Maison Matcha Vanilla into a bowl. Add the brewed tea and whisk with a bamboo whisk (chasen) until smooth and frothy. This ensures a creamy, clump-free base for your latte.

Step 3: Combine with Milk and Maple

Heat 140ml of milk until warm and frothy. Slowly pour it into the matcha-tea mixture. Stir in 1 tsp of maple syrup for a naturally sweet, aromatic finish.

Step 4: Optional Iced Version

Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour your latte over for a refreshing iced Earl Grey Maple Matcha Latte. Stir gently before sipping.
